Anna has a unique crawling method.
She uses one leg for power and the other for steering. While one leg is moving rapidly to transport her little body, the other helps her turn on a dime.
I've always affectionately referred to that leg as her steering leg.
Yesterday, Mom and Dad (MeMe and Papa) came over for a quick visit.
Anna was crawling in her normal crazy fashion when MeMe said, "What do you call that leg? Her udder?"
Chris and I looked at her like she was nuts, and Chris asked her what the heck she was talking about.
MeMe replied with a need-you-ask-look on her face, "Boats use udders to steer."
We all looked confused until Chris cleared the air.
"Boats don't have udders. They have rudders."
We all had a good laugh.
It was udder-ly hilarious.
